Hi from Argentina,
If is possible, it will great if you can select tables inside each database. By default, all tables would be selected, but user could choose one (checking/unchecking).

Great job !! We just bought the Ultimate version and we are very satisfied with MySql backup.

Regards...

Hello Team SQLBF,

We wanted to raise this idea, went through the forum and found an earlier request of the same concept still unanswered / not looked upon for about two years.

We have a few databases where only a couple of tables are modified daily and the other tables are untouched for months together. We would like to explore if an option could be made available to script specific selected tables instead of the whole database.

This feature could reduce the time taken for certain jobs to complete.

Eagerly waiting to see this feature included in the coming releases.

Regards,

Lourdu Xavier.

Hello,

Please note there is ability to execute differential or log transaction backups. You can setup these backups at "Advanced Backup Schedule" window.

Alexey.

Maybe add in some way "ignore table option" will be great also.
--ignore-table

this because sometime we don't need to backup some bigtable (like logs), etc

just a wish

Hello,

I'm looking to move from our current backup solution so I can save backups to Amazon S3.
MySqlBF looks to be the most simple to use however I need to backup certian tables every hour along with full db backups every week/month.

Has this feature been considered?
If so when do you think it will be available for public release?

Thanks
Darren

Hello,

Please use "Extra command line params" field on "Export options" window to specify what tables do you want add to backups or ignore.
For example, to backup certain tables Table1 and Table2, use these parameters: --tables Table1 Table2. To ignore tables Table1 and Table2, use these parameters: --ignore-table=dbname.Table1 --ignore-table=dbname.Table2.
To open this window, please click on "Advanced" button on the main window of MySQLBackupFTP application, then click on "More SQL Options..." button at "Advanced Settings" window and click on "Export options..." link at "Output SQL file options" window.

Regards,
Alexey.
