I know that we've talked about this already, but it would be great if the database is in full recovery and a log or diff backup fails to move to final destination, it would not delete the original from the temp location. And for sure not default to take a full backup when it happens. I had a backup location failure the other day and I filled up my secondary drive location with full backups every 15 minutes. It would have been a ton better to have the original copies on the server and then be able to move them to the destination when the location was available again. Or if there are multiple file locations specified, and one of them fails, an email/notification is sent and the backups continue to the other location unimpeded.
