How to Backup MySQL to Amazon S3
Follow this simple tutorial to create a backup job. MySQLBackupFTP backup job will make MySQL database backups according to your schedule and store them to Amazon S3.
- Download, install and launch MySQLBackupFTP and choose all databases which you are going to backup from the list on the left.
- Select a destination where your backups will be stored. To do it press “Add backup destination” and select “Amazon S3” from the list. Specify “Access key”, ” Secret Key” and “Bucket”, then check the connection to your Amazon S3 account by pressing “Test”. To apply all settings click “Save & Close”.
- Check off “Schedule this job” and select “Advanced backup schedule” to set a backup schedule. Make all necessary backup schedule settings and press “Save & Close”.
